Undergraduate students of the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) are eligible to participate in the officially established Internship Program of the Undergraduate Studies Curriculum, taking into consideration:

▪ the provisions of Article 69 of Law 4957/2022 (141/A) and Article 44 of Law 5128/2024 (118/A),
▪ Joint Ministerial Decision No. 7543/2.10.2024 (5473/B’) concerning the “Determination of the monthly compensation of Higher Education Institution student interns”,
▪ the applicable labor and social insurance legislation in force,
▪ the provisions defined in the Internship Regulation of the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology of NKUA, implemented in accordance with the Standard Internal Regulation for Student Internships of NKUA (Senate Decision No. 173/11-12-2024, 7005/20.12.2024, Issue B’).

Student internships may be carried out in public services, public law entities, local government organizations of first and second degree, private law entities, and private-sector companies, hereinafter referred to as “Host Organizations”, under the guidance of a designated supervisor from the Host Organization and under the academic supervision of a faculty member of the Department’s Undergraduate Study Program.

The Department of Aerospace Science and Technology is responsible for the selection and placement of students in Host Organizations for Internship positions, in accordance with the academic criteria defined in the present Undergraduate Internship Regulation.
