#Transporter16: We are pleased to announce our collaboration with the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) as part of our program with the Hellenic Space Center to support 🇬🇷 Greece’s space capabilities. ERMIS-1, ERMIS-2, and ERMIS-3 — designed and led by NKUA — are set to be deployed aboard SpaceX’s Transporter-16 mission, with lift-off scheduled for NET March 2026 from Vandenberg Space Force Base 🚀
ERMIS-1, ERMIS-2, and ERMIS-3 were selected by the Hellenic Space Center and funded by the European Space Agency - ESA as part of the Greek CubeSat In-Orbit Validation (IOV) program. The ERMIS constellation was system-engineered and integrated by NKUA, with ERMIS-1 and ERMIS-2 manufactured by OQ Technology Hellas, and ERMIS-3 designed, integrated and manufactured by NKUA. Together, the ERMIS satellites are designed to support standard-based satellite IoT and 5G NTN connectivity, high resolution earth observation applications and optical communications, representing a collective national effort to translate space technology into reliable real-world connectivity 🛰️
To enable the quick and safe deployment of the ERMIS constellation, Exolaunch is providing its launch program planning and launch capacity procurement, end-to-end launch mission management, environmental testing, satellite integration, global shipping and customs clearance, and satellite deployment through our high-performance, flight-proven EXOpod NOVA.
We are grateful to support the Hellenic Space Center and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens as they advance end-to-end satellite programs and build long-term space expertise. With ERMIS-1, ERMIS-2, and ERMIS-3 successfully integrated at our Berlin headquarters, we now look ahead to launch and to seeing the ERMIS constellation carry Greece’s ambitions proudly into orbit 🚀
